My stay at Sandos Playacar was a mix of highs and lows. The beach was absolutely stunning, and the staff made me feel right at home with their genuine care. However, I was disappointed by the outdated facilities and the uninviting animal enclosure on-site. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there are areas that need improvement.

I recently stayed at Sandos Playacar All Inclusive and overall it was a good experience, but not without some challenges. The beautifully landscaped grounds and lovely beach really stood out, providing a perfect setting for relaxation. However, I did face issues with service responsiveness and some dining experiences that didn’t quite meet my expectations. I believe my stay could have been more enjoyable with better attention to guest details and smoother operations.
I had an very nice stay at Sandos Playacar, especially loving the new adults-only area by the beach. The staff was friendly, and check-in was a breeze. While I found some aspects like the buffet food to be repetitive, the overall dining experience, especially at the a la carte restaurants, was fantastic. My main complaints were about some of the room situations—some seemed dated and not up to par with expectations.
I had high hopes for my stay at Sandos Playacar, given its beautiful grounds and proximity to the beach. Unfortunately, while the beach itself was fantastic and the pools well-maintained, the room service and dining options left much to be desired. Plus, my experience with the staff was mixed; some were friendly, but many were unhelpful and dismissive, which really dampened my stay. I wouldn't say it was a horrible experience, but I don't think I'd return.
